LUCIANA FARIA
Brazil, 1961
Visual artist and architect, she studied Baroque, Renaissance, and Contemporary Art History at the Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy. Her creative process combines painting and hand embroidery. Acrylic, watercolor, oil, thread, and stitches give shape to countless imaginary landscapes on canvas. Her creations are inspired by the overwhelming power of nature’s forces and by the passage of time.
